Description :	Bois repeint. En forme de tombeau aux formes souples couronnées par la vigoureuse saillie de la table, il présente un devant constitué d'un panneau cerné d'une forte moulure, symétriquement rempli par un somptueux décor en relief magistralement sculpté. Des éléments d'une rocaille apaisée mêlent leurs multiples courbes à des rinceaux, à de longues feuilles issues de l'acanthe, à des chutes et à des guirlandes de fleurs et de feuillages. Un motif central à fond quadrillé porte un cartouche ovale coiffé d'une couronne de comte, dans lequel sont sculptées des armoiries.

Historique :	Restauré en sa polychromie, un bleu-vert rechampi de blanc avec les armes au naturel, cet autel fut acquis en 1968 chez les religieuses du couvent de la Visitation à Nancy, son origine antérieure étant ignorée.
